Pickleball is one of the sports which has grown very fast over the years. If one wants to build an outdoor court of pickleball then it could be easily made if one is having ample of flat space-

  • Flat space and surface - To make it one needs to have 20 x 44 feet court but the playing area required is around 30 X 60 feet. Now the player needs to decide that on which surface they want to have the court such as concrete, asphalt, and many others.
  • Do the perimeter fencing – It is necessary to have the fencing around the playing area for the security of both the players as well as spectators. Different fencing is available around and one can choose from them. Most common fencing is being made from the wire as it allows the players as well as spectators to see in and out. The preferred height of fencing required is of 10 feet but if the fence is padded then 4 feet will also work.
  • Lighting – There should be proper lighting on the court of Pickleball. It is necessary to have 1500 watt two poles which should be around 18 to 20 feet high. It is necessary as while playing if there is less of lightning one can use it.
If a person knows how to make the Pickleball court then one can do so on its own. Otherwise, one can take the help of professionals who can do it for them. By doing it with a professional, one can be relaxed that the court will be made as per the measurement and process.
